Sutherland

Sutherland is a sweet, 7-year-old, 85-pound girl with a heart full of love to give. She was rescued from a difficult situation of abandonment and neglect and, despite her past, she remains incredibly friendly and gentle. She knows commands like "sit," "down," and "shake," and is house-trained and crate-trained. Sutherland absolutely adores human attention and will happily gaze into your eyes, showing a deep and abiding love. She gets along well with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages.

Ideal Home

Sutherland would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of attention and affection. She is looking for a cat-free environment.

Ongoing Health

Sutherland experienced fly bite wounds to her ears due to past neglect, which have healed. She also had previous ear issues that have resulted in a permanent disfigurement to her right ear.

Training & Support

Sutherland is obedient and easygoing, but could benefit from a little help with a diet and exercise plan to reach her ideal weight. As with any new pet, she will need a decompression and adjustment period in her new home.
