Kate is the total package, sweet, smart, and ready for her next big adventure! This young, energetic girl is equal parts playful companion and devoted snuggle buddy. Found as a stray, Kate quickly made friends and has continued to win hearts with her gentle nature, eagerness to please, and adorable personality.
Now thriving in foster, Kate is housetrained and learning to love her crate. She’s working on lots of fun tricks and already knows “sit”! She’s responding beautifully to kind guidance and consistency as she learns “stay,” “place,” “down,” “wait,” and “shake.” She’s incredibly smart and loves learning, especially when treats or toys are involved.
Kate lives with another dog and is clearly a social butterfly with other pups. She follows her foster sibling everywhere, learning from him and seeking out his company for play, exploration, and naps. She loves being outside, splashing in a kiddie pool, going on walks, or just sniffing around the yard. But don’t let her energy fool you—she’s also a top-tier napper who wants nothing more than to sleep near (or touching) her person. She’s a velcro dog who checks in often and thrives on affection. Her sweet, expressive eyes say it all: “I love you—please love me back.” Kate is blossoming in her foster home, gaining confidence, overcoming fears, and showing how much trust she’s willing to give when treated kindly. Whether you’re headed out for an adventure or settling in for a Netflix marathon, Kate will be right there with you—sweet eyes, wagging tail, and all.
