Jake in Maine

Jake is a charming 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who's ready to find his forever home! He's a wonderful cuddler and enjoys car rides and leisurely walks. Jake is also crate-trained and behaves calmly in the home. While his eyesight isn't what it used to be, he still sees well and his age doesn't slow him down one bit. He's good with children, but due to some sensitivity around his neck, we recommend older kids who will be mindful of his needs.

Ideal Home

Jake would thrive in a home where he is the only pet, as he has a prey drive. He's looking for a loving environment to spend his senior years, filled with nap times and, of course, delicious snacks!

Ongoing Health

Jake's eyesight has diminished with age, but he still sees well. He also has some sensitivity around his neck.

Training & Support

Jake is crate-trained and is a calm presence in the home.
