Meet Mercury! This handsome 4-month-old Pit Bull mix is a survivor and a total sweetheart. He was found in NYC underweight and with mange, but after receiving lots of love and care, he's bounced back and is now thriving in his foster home. Mercury is a happy, goofy pup who absolutely loves playtime and is always ready for an adventure. He gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in his foster home and has a quirky habit of proudly claiming any dog toy he can get his paws on, carrying his prize around with joy. He's eager to please and treat-motivated, which makes him a joy to train. Mercury is making great progress with his housebreaking and crate training, showing he's ready to be a well-behaved member of a family. This sweet boy has left his tough start behind and is looking for a loving family to help him continue to grow into the amazing dog he's meant to be. Ideal Home

Mercury is looking for a family that will continue to help him grow and thrive. He enjoys playing with other dogs and is a proud toy thief, so a home with plenty of toys would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Mercury was previously underweight and had mange, but he has made an incredible comeback thanks to the care he received. He is up to date on vaccinations and is neutered.

Training & Support

Mercury is treat-motivated and eager to learn. He is currently working on his housebreaking and crate training and is making great progress.
