Meet Lola! This sweet girl was found on the highway between La Cruz and Punta Mita in Mexico. She bravely fought through ehrlichia and mange, and today she is thriving! Lola is loving, calm at heart, and so ready for a home of her own. She's been with us for over three years and truly deserves more attention and a chance at family life. She is the kind of dog who will blossom once she leaves the shelter. If you are looking for a loyal adventure buddy with a big heart, Lola is your girl.

Lola would shine with an active person who loves adventures. She is best with teens or adults, as quick movements from small kids can scare her.

Lola can get stressed in the shelter and may guard toys. She walks okay on a leash but prefers getting attention more than walking.

Transporation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. During the summer months, it can be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable.
