Latte is a 1-year-old, 52-pound Staffordshire Terrier/Retriever mix who is spayed and ready to find her forever home! She's a bright, energetic young dog who thrives on structure, guidance, and positive reinforcement. Latte is a treat-motivated learner and already knows "sit" and "down." She's working on her leash manners, as she can be a bit hesitant in new environments, but her foster mom is helping her build confidence by exploring new places. She shows no reactivity to people or other dogs on walks.
Latte has made wonderful progress since arriving in rescue in December 2025, benefiting from both maturity and the loving structure her foster provides. She enjoys the company of other dogs and has been gentle around small dogs, puppies, small children, and babies.
Ideal Home
Latte is a high-energy girl who would be happiest in an active home that can offer plenty of physical exercise and continued training. She would love a canine companion to play with, as she can be quite bouncy and excited around new dogs. If she's the only dog, she'll need daily exercise and enrichment to keep her happy and thriving.
Ongoing Health
Latte is up-to-date on all her vaccinations and has been spayed.
Training & Support
Latte is fully house-trained and comfortable in her crate for about four hours at a time, showing no signs of separation anxiety. She is eager to please and motivated by treats, making her a joy to train.

Transporation
Latte is currently located in Houston, Texas. Transport out-of-state is available and included in the adoption donation. Transports run every few weeks, and she will be on the next available one once approved.
