Henry Chestnut

Henry is a handsome Shepherd mix with a vibrant energy that rivals any puppy, though at 7.5 years young, he's also happy to curl up for a nap. He's a total joy who was rescued from a city shelter's euthanasia list due to overcrowding. Since his rescue, Henry has shown himself to be a true survivor and a wonderful companion. He's a "medium energy" dog, always up for a walk but equally content to relax indoors.

Ideal Home

Henry would love a home where he can be the center of attention. A retired person or someone working remotely would be his dream come true. While a yard is a plus, he does wonderfully on walks and would be happy in any home that offers him love and consistency. He is also dog-friendly and could live with or without another dog.

Ongoing Health

Henry is a healthy boy and has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Henry has recently completed elite board and train, where he learned many new commands and is now walking and listening like a pro. He is very responsive to training and thrives on structure and positive reinforcement. Inclusions for his training sessions are included with the training institute. He is also crate-trained and transitions in and out of his crate with ease.
