Kagome

Kagome is a charming young lady, about two and a half years old, weighing in at 37 pounds. She came to us when her previous owner could no longer keep her, but we know she'll make a wonderful companion for the right person. Kagome is stocky and strong on-leash, and she's very curious during her walks, taking in all the sights and smells. She seems to be kennel-trained and absolutely adores treats – just be mindful of her enthusiasm, as she might accidentally nab a finger along with her reward!

Ideal Home

We recommend a home with no small children for Kagome. She needs a patient and understanding environment where she can feel safe and build confidence at her own pace.

Ongoing Health

Kagome has tested negative for heartworms. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Kagome is described as not being house-trained, so continued training in this area will be beneficial. Her love for treats is a great motivator, so positive reinforcement methods will likely be very effective!
