Meet Brody, a charming 5-year-old, 65-pound neutered male Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix! Brody is the perfect blend of playful energy and laid-back cuddles. He’s a lovable goofball who enjoys outdoor adventures and equally loves a cozy day on the couch. He’s happy to dress up for any occasion, as long as he’s with his favorite people!
Ideal Home
Brody would thrive in a home with a secure backyard where he can run and play. He has done best with friendly, laid-back female dogs, but he would also be content as the only pup in the household. He's looking for a buddy to play with, run around the yard, and then snuggle with. He would do best with older, dog-savvy children (8-10+) who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. Brody is not a good fit for homes with cats.
Ongoing Health
Brody is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Brody is house-trained and crate-trained. He walks calmly on a loose leash and is eager to please. He is smart and food-motivated, thriving with structure, consistency, and encouragement. He has made great progress with his obedience skills and, with calm guidance and continued positive experiences, he can adapt well. He may get a little excited around assertive male dogs. Brody would benefit from a family experienced with Cattle Dogs, Pitbulls, or other intelligent working breeds. Daily walks, light adventure, and activities like scent work, agility, or basic obedience classes would keep his mind sharp and strengthen his bond with his family.
