Grace Hargraves

Grace is a beautiful, sturdy, and incredibly smart 3-year-old girl! Her perky ears are like little bat wings, and she loves a good scratch. Grace has a lot of energy but naps most of the day during work hours. She was an excellent mom to 10 puppies when she first arrived in rescue, and now it's her turn to find her forever home! Grace can sit, lie down, and is completely potty and crate trained. She loves her kennel and will often take naps in it voluntarily, as it makes her feel safe. She happily sleeps there every night.

Ideal Home

Grace is looking for a home that can see her for her worth. She needs a family that understands she notices changes in her environment and can help her feel secure. She has a difficult time when initially meeting men but can get past this after an initial introduction. She would do best in a home without other children, adults, or pets, as she is still working through some signs of trauma from her past. Grace is very strong and will require all of your attention on walks, so no airpods for the first few walks!

Grace is a healthy 3-year-old.

Training & Support

Grace is working on rolling over, shaking hands, "down," and becoming more zen about seeing squirrels on walks. She needs a patient and understanding family who can continue to work with her on these behaviors and help her feel more secure.
