Bear Buddy Heart is a handsome, 60-pound guy estimated to be just over a year old. He's a confident and people-loving dog with a big personality, ready to learn and engage with the world. Bear is treat-motivated, which makes him a joy to train. He loves attention and will happily be part of your activities, or just lounge nearby. He's already house and crate trained!
Ideal Home
Bear would do best in a home with a confident, calm, larger female dog who won't be overwhelmed by his size or playfulness. He's still learning leash manners and how to manage his excitement around other dogs. He has shown curiosity and restraint around cats, so a dog-savvy, confident feline with slow introductions could also be a good fit.
Ongoing Health
Bear is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and he has been microchipped.
Training & Support
Bear is still a puppy at heart and needs continued guidance. He needs help with his leash manners when he sees other dogs and can be a bit too enthusiastic during play with other canines. With clear, consistent handling, proper introductions, and the right dog match, he will be a wonderful playmate. He thrives with regular exercise, mental stimulation, and ongoing training, especially enjoying enrichment puzzles.
