Meet Hassie!
Hassie is a 2-year-old, 41lb bundle of fun who is ready for every adventure you have planned. But don't let her energetic first impression fool you – she'll be the first one curled up beside you on the couch afterward, ready to be your professional cuddle buddy. Like many cattle dogs, Hassie is smart and loyal, but she's a little more into relaxation than work.
Hassie's story almost ended before it really began. She found herself in a tough situation at a North Texas shelter but was thankfully rescued, giving her the second chance she truly deserves. She's dog-friendly, crate trained, and potty trained. She's always up for tagging along on hikes, road trips, or patio lunches, and when the fun is over, she's perfectly content to spend the rest of the day relaxing by your side.
Ideal Home
Hassie has natural herding instincts and can get a little too enthusiastic about organizing fast-moving little humans. Because of this, she would be happiest in a home with older children or adults who understand and appreciate the quirks that make her breed so special. She is also looking for a cat-free home, as cats are a hard pass for this girl.
Ongoing Health
Hassie has no known health conditions to report.
Training & Support
Hassie is crate trained and potty trained. She has natural herding instincts that may need gentle guidance in a home with older children or adults.
