Hello there! My name is Shiva, and I'm a delightful American Bulldog/Pit mix with a birthday of September 28, 2022. I'm a spayed female, currently weighing around 40lbs. One of my most endearing quirks is my love for a good back rub, especially under curtains – it's my favorite way to get some attention! I'm also potty trained, though I'm not a fan of crates, so I'd prefer a home where I don't have to spend time in one.
I have a good temperament and absolutely love being around people and other animals. I've even had positive experiences with chickens and my best buddy was a potbelly pig! I'm great with kids and while I'm good with dogs, I do need more socialization to feel completely comfortable around them. I'm a smart and active girl who enjoys companionship. I know commands like "sit," "shake," and "down," and I love going on runs with my foster mom, especially by bike! If you're looking for a hiking or biking buddy, I'm your girl! I do enjoy toys, but my favorite thing in the world is spending time with my humans. A heads-up: I do tend to "sing" or howl when I'm left alone for too long, so I might not be the best fit for an apartment unless your neighbors have a great sense of humor!
Ideal Home
Shiva would thrive in an active home where she can get plenty of exercise, socialization, and attention. She enjoys human companionship and would prefer a home where she isn't left alone for extended periods.
