Big Mama

Meet Big Mama, a 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart full of affection and a spirit for adventure! This athletic girl loves her walks and meeting new people. She was found as a stray and, after a brief stay at a local shelter, was thankfully rescued and brought to safety. Big Mama is incredibly people-friendly and enjoys a good cuddle session. While she can be a bit unaware of her size when she's excited, don't let that fool you – she's got energy and loves to play! Indoors, she's a champion lounger, but once she's outside, it's game time!

Ideal Home

Big Mama would do best in a home without young children, as she can be unaware of her size when she's excited. She does well with most dogs but prefers male companions, particularly medium to large-sized males. A home with only male dogs would be ideal for her. While she enjoys canine companionship, she doesn't require a doggy sibling to be happy.

Ongoing Health

Big Mama came to us a bit overweight but has since reached a healthier weight.

Training & Support

Big Mama is already potty and crate trained. She knows "sit" and "shake" and is a very smart girl. She is also good on a leash.
