Felix

Felix is a timid, shy, and curious little guy who loves to follow his nose! He came to us from our friends at PAWS, and we're so excited to help him find his perfect match. Like many Chihuahuas, Felix is a bit reserved at first, but he's sure to bond strongly with his trusted person. He's still learning about life in the shelter, but we're already seeing his adorable personality shine through with his tail wags, perked-up ears, and sweet paw reaches. Felix would likely do best in a quiet home with patient and gentle adopters who can give him plenty of time to decompress and a small circle to build his confidence.

Ideal Home

Felix would thrive in a quiet, low foot traffic home. We recommend dog-savvy kids 16+ or an adult-only home at this time. He may be okay with cats and dogs of similar size and energy, but slow and supervised introductions are a must. He can do well in an apartment.

Ongoing Health

Felix is all set and ready to go home with no medical procedures needed before adoption!

Training & Support

Felix appears to be potty trained. Positive reward-based obedience classes aren't required but could be beneficial in building his confidence. We recommend giving him plenty of time to decompress and keeping his circle small as he gains confidence.
