About Peanut

Meet Peanut, a charming 4-year-old Shepherd/Chow mix who will steal your heart with his soulful brown eyes. This handsome fellow weighs in at 102 pounds and boasts a stunning golden-brown coat with a rich reddish glow. His fur is incredibly soft, perfect for endless petting.

Peanut is a true "work in progress" and is looking for a family who sees his amazing potential. He is currently a bit overweight, but with a commitment to regular walks, structured playtime, controlled portions, and lots of encouragement, he is absolutely capable of reaching his best, healthiest self. Sometimes, love means belly rubs, and other times, it means sticking to a healthy routine – Peanut needs both! He's semi-active and enjoys playing with friends, particularly short games of fetch. While his stamina will grow with consistency and support, he's a big guy who needs a family dedicated to an active, healthy lifestyle to help him regain his spark. Peanut is a sweet, gentle soul who just needs a little help to get out of his funk. With structure, patience, and a focus on wellness, he's going to blossom into the happiest, healthiest version of himself. If you're ready to cheer on this big-hearted boy and celebrate every small victory, Peanut is eager to start his journey with you.
