Some dogs are happy—and then there’s Trooper! This joyful, goofy Pit Bull Terrier has a contagious smile, a constantly wagging tail, and an oversized personality. He brings bouncy enthusiasm and sunshine wherever he goes.

Trooper is wonderful with other dogs and would be a fun companion for an active family. He has shown some resource guarding, so he needs separate eating spaces and a home without children. He is unsure about cats but may do well with a dog-savvy cat with slow introductions.

Ideal Home

Trooper would thrive with an active adopter who can provide consistent training, patience, and plenty of opportunities to burn off his energy. He needs an indoor-only home without children and separate eating spaces.

Ongoing Health

His adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations, and preventatives.

Training & Support

Trooper is eager to interact with people and is working on keeping all four paws on the floor and using his mouth less when excited. His adoption includes a free basic training course with Cedar Run Company.
