Zoey

Meet Zoey, a delightful 7-month-old, 48-lb brindle Great Pyrenees mix with a heart full of sweetness and gentleness. She's spayed, fully vaccinated, and is a classic puppy – full of curiosity, playfulness, and a desire to explore the world. Zoey can be a bit shy initially with new people and surroundings, but with a little time and patience, her truly affectionate and wonderfully silly personality shines through. She's looking for a patient and understanding adopter who will help her feel secure and confident in her new home.

Ideal Home

Zoey enjoys playtime with other dogs, and has done well with dogs her size and smaller. She also has a history of doing great with children (recommended ages 6+). While she hasn't had experience with cats, she may do well with slow introductions. A home ready to help a young pup build confidence and grow will be perfect for her.

Zoey is spayed and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

Zoey is crate trained and can be left for up to 6 hours. She rides well in the car and has no food aggression. She is still working on house training and leash skills, and may pull a bit as she's still learning and leashes are new to her. Zoey is eager to learn and will thrive with patience, consistency, and continued guidance.

Transportation

Zoey is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. She can be transported out of state for approved adopters. Transports run every few weeks, and she will be on the next available transport once approved. If you are unable to accept a dog until a specific time, please apply at that time.
