Rockee is a 4-year-old, 18 lb male shih tzu mix who looks like a tiny lion with his distinctive long hair in front and short hair on his back end. He is a good leash walker and has had no accidents indoors. Rockee's personality is a charming blend of affection seeking while maintaining a high level of independence. He finds his place of comfort and is quite content to relax with a chew toy. At night, he snuggles for a while and then finds his own space to sleep. Rockee combines a friendly sweetness with a good deal of self-sufficiency, making him a loving yet non-clingy companion. If a mini-lion with a quirky personality appeals to you, Rockee may be the one for you!

Ongoing Health
Rockee's adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, and a certified veterinary inspection.

- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- The application process includes landlord approval and vet checks.
- Please ensure all your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application.
- We strive to process all applications in a timely manner, but with the high volume of applications we are receiving, it is taking anywhere from 1-3 weeks.
- You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions.
- Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email. Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for.
- Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center.
- Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home.
- Meet and greets take place at our adoption center located in New Berlin.
- If you are proceeding with adopting a Lucky Mutt, we will require the dog to have a Martingale collar at the time of adoption, to ensure the dog's safety during the transition to a new home.
