My name is Melon Loaf, and I'm a professional love bug, expert lounger, and part-time tennis ball chaser! I'm an easygoing guy who knows how to enjoy the good things in life. I love going on walks, but I don't believe in overdoing it. I'll let you know when it's time to turn around and head home. I'm happy to have a short fetch session with a tennis ball, then I'm ready to relax and recharge. I'm great with kids and absolutely love being part of family life. New people are a big yes for me, though kitty cats are not my speed. I'm friendly, calm, and walk nicely on leash. I do best with dogs who are closer to my size and energy level, and I've had some really great playdates with dogs just like me. I'm fully crate trained and potty trained, and I do really well when left alone for a few hours. In fact, I'm so responsible that I put myself to bed around 6 or 7 pm. I will happily snooze in my crate with the door open, though I may give you a little side eye if you wake me up for a late night potty break or an early morning outing. A guy needs his beauty sleep. I love car rides, lounging outside on patio furniture, and carrying my toys around. Stuffed toys are a favorite, especially the part where I pull the stuffing out. I'm not destructive, not much of a barker, and I have zero interest in chewing your shoes. If you're looking for a sweet, laid back companion who brings calm energy, affection, and a whole lot of love, I might just be your perfect match. I'm ready when you are.
