Bricks is a 9-year-old, pitbull mix who is as sturdy as his name suggests! He's a low-rider with a short, thick build and tiny legs, giving him minimal ground clearance. Bricks is a charming fellow who loves to bounce, sniff, and explore. He's happy, friendly, and enjoys snuggling under a warm blanket. He was house-trained but might need a little refresher after his time in a kennel. Bricks is excellent on-leash and is the perfect partner for neighborhood strolls.
He was previously adopted from a rescue, but unfortunately, he once stripped his collar and injured another dog. Due to Virginia law, Bricks has been labeled "dangerous," a label he will carry for life. He is fortunate to have been cared for by a sanctuary and then by the President of Augusta Dog Adoptions. Bricks can be adopted within Virginia with additional requirements, but his best chance for a loving home is out of state.
Ideal Home
Bricks cannot live in a home with cats. He has been okay with some dogs but can be dominant or aggressive with others, so the safest environment for him is a home without other pets.
Ongoing Health
Bricks carries a "dangerous" label due to a past incident.
