Jafar

Jafar is a lovable, medium-energy puppy with an incredibly soft coat and an equally gentle heart. He's estimated to be around 1 year old and weighs 36lbs. Jafar is a neutered male Labrador retriever mix with a lot of potential to be an amazing companion. He was a bit reserved with people early on due to a lack of early socialization, but with patience and calm introductions, he blossoms into an affectionate and cuddly dog. He can get a little mouthy when excited, so he'd do best in a home with older children. Jafar is already potty and crate trained, doesn't pull on walks, and knows how to sit on command.

Ideal Home

Jafar would do best in a moderately active home with another friendly, confident dog to help boost his confidence and help him feel brave in new places. He can be mouthy when excited, so he's better suited to a home with older children.

Ongoing Health

Jafar is a healthy pup with no known ongoing health concerns at this time.

Training & Support

Jafar is potty and crate trained and knows how to sit. He can get a little mouthy when excited and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training to help him learn how to manage his excitement.

Transportation

Jafar is currently in Houston, Texas. He can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be placed on the next available transport once approved.
