Fletcher

Fletcher is an impossibly sweet boy who just wants a quiet spot beside you. He arrived at the shelter stressed and underweight, but his body is working hard to catch up. Even though he's not feeling his best, Fletcher is smart, respectful, easy to walk, and incredibly grateful for any attention and treats. He's also remarkably tolerant, even allowing volunteers to dress him up in costumes and headbands! Some dogs demand the spotlight, but Fletcher quietly steals your heart.

Ongoing Health

Fletcher is recovering from his time at the shelter and is working hard to regain his strength. He will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.

Training & Support

Fletcher is easy to walk and respectful. Introductions to any resident dogs should be slow, cautious, and appropriate, allowing ample time for decompression.

• All household members should be present for meetings, especially those under 18 and any decision-makers.
• Dog-to-dog meet and greets can be arranged at the shelter. Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s) is required.

Transporation

Fletcher is located at Chicago Animal Care and Control, 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. Walk-in visitors are welcome daily from 12pm to 7pm. If you plan to adopt on the day of your visit, please arrive before 5:30pm.
