Nala's journey began on the streets, where she bravely made a home from a cardboard box and blankets, often following people, especially children, with the hope of being chosen. Now, safe and thriving in foster care, she's ready for the forever home she truly deserves. Nala is brimming with personality – playful, affectionate, and delightfully goofy. She adores her toys and has been known to toss them in the air for a solo game of fetch! She's doing wonderfully with other dogs and people, is 95% potty trained, fully crate trained, and already knows "sit." She's currently mastering "stay" and "wait." While she walks well on a leash, she's still learning to focus as everything around her is so exciting. Nala can be a bit shy initially, but after about 30 minutes to warm up on her own terms, she blossoms into your most loyal little shadow, eager to shower you with love. She would thrive in a home that cherishes a fun, affectionate companion and is committed to continuing to build her confidence. While another dog would be a bonus, it's not a requirement for this sweet girl. Transporation
Nala is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can be coordinated to your state or a neighboring state from Texas. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Adopters will be able to track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates along the way, or via Facebook chats.
