Grumpy would do best in a home where he can receive plenty of attention and affection. He thrives with a consistent routine and a patient family who understands his need for a secure and loving environment.
Ongoing Health
Grumpy has received a comprehensive medical workup from our dedicated team. This includes vaccinations against common canine diseases such as Parvovirus, Distemper, Adenovirus, and Parainfluenza. He is also vaccinated against Bordetella and Leptospirosis, and if he is over 5 months old, he has received a Rabies vaccination. Grumpy has been tested for heartworm, Lyme disease, Anaplasmosis, and Ehrlichiosis using the Idexx Snap 4Dx test. Adult dogs have also had a full panel blood test. He is microchipped with free lifetime registration and has been dewormed to address common parasites. Grumpy is also up-to-date on flea and tick treatment with Bravecto. All our dogs are spayed or neutered before adoption, and Grumpy has had this procedure completed. His nails have also been trimmed.
Training & Support
Grumpy is a smart dog who is eager to please. With continued positive reinforcement and consistent training, he will surely blossom. We recommend continuing with basic obedience training to help him build confidence and reinforce good manners. Patience and understanding will go a long way in helping him adjust to his new home.
