Handsome Fowler is finally ready for his forever home!

Meet Fowler! This sweet and protective German Shepherd boy was saved just minutes before euthanasia. He weighed 53 pounds when he arrived, so lethargic he could barely walk, bark, or keep his tongue in his mouth. Covered in ticks and diagnosed with heartworm, Fowler has undergone months of treatment and weight gain, and is now ready to embark on his new life! He's a medium-energy boy who weighs 85 pounds and enjoys playtime or walks followed by attention and affection. Fowler is very sweet and gentle with children and is highly food motivated, making him eager to learn new tricks.

Ideal Home

Fowler would do best in a home without cats. He has not been exposed to other dogs, so a home without canine companions would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Fowler has successfully completed his heartworm treatment. He is current on age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick preventative, and has been dewormed.

Training & Support

Fowler is crate trained and potty trained. His love for food makes him a great candidate for learning new commands and tricks!
