Jax

Jax is a charming one-year-old who weighs about 45 pounds. He was found as a stray and is now looking for his forever home! Jax has the sweetest temperament and is a true cuddle bug who just wants to be a lap dog. He can hold his bladder for about 7 hours in his kennel. He is learning to walk nicely on a leash and is doing very well adjusting to indoor living. Jax is observant and loves to watch everything going on around him. He is very food motivated, which makes training and giving him medication a breeze! He has learned to stay out of the kitchen and is a quick learner.

Ideal Home

Jax is good with other dogs, people, and children. He loves toys and will "horde" them, laying on top of them to protect them. He is not a fan of car rides or baths at the moment, but these are new experiences for him and with some patience, he may come to enjoy them.

Ongoing Health

Jax has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has received a fecal exam and deworming.

Training & Support

Jax is still working on not jumping up on people when he gets excited. He is also working on leash training.
