Artemis

Artemis, or “Artie” to his friends, is a charming 5-month-old, 30lb Pit Bull mix with a heart full of love and a personality to match! Artie is an expert at making friends, with an outgoing, confident, and affectionate nature. He's hilariously expressive, often tilting his head when you speak to him, and he delights in all sorts of activities, from chasing toys and playing with dog pals to splashing in a kiddie pool or snuggling up for some downtime.

Ideal Home

Artie would thrive in a home that offers plenty of love, daily playtime, and opportunities to be a part of the family's life. He would likely do well with another playful, confident dog who can match his energy and help him continue learning good dog manners. He also loves kids and would likely do best with older or dog-savvy children as he continues to learn polite puppy manners. An ideal home will also appreciate his affectionate and silly nature.

Training & Support

Artie is a smart, food-motivated puppy eager to learn, making training a fun and rewarding experience. He already knows commands like "sit," "down," "kennel," and "go to bed." He is also working on continuing his potty training, learning not to jump when excited, and practicing polite manners around food and on leash, especially when distractions are present. He does wonderfully in his crate, sleeps through the night, and rides well in the car.
