Murphy is an 8-year-old, 25.5lb cuddle bug who is funny and loving. He's a big red and white boy who loves his people, looking out the window, and snuggling on the couch. Murphy prefers to sleep right next to his humans if possible and enjoys playing outside with people, watching people work, and napping in the sun. He's been to dog camp and is currently fostered with other Boston Terriers, whom he adores and plays with like a gentleman. He hasn't been around cats but would do best with children aged 10 and older. Murphy is house-trained and knows how to use a doggy door. He also rides well in the car and only barks to alert you or when his person arrives home.
Ideal Home
Murphy would thrive in a home where he can be close to his people. He's not suited for apartment living as he can whine for a while when his human leaves the house. He would do best in a home with older children (10ish and up) and would likely enjoy living with other dogs.
Ongoing Health
Murphy has allergies and receives a Cytopoint injection every 4-6 weeks. He is on a limited ingredient diet (Natural Balance) and takes an antihistamine daily. It's possible he may not need the injection during cooler months. All dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up-to-date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Any other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.
Training & Support
Murphy is house-trained and leash-trained. He is confident and not shy.
