Solstice

Solstice is a beautiful senior girl with a heart full of love to give, once she feels safe. She was adopted as a young pup, but unfortunately, after two years, her previous family returned her. This experience left her skittish and fearful of strangers, but her foster family has discovered that with patience, treats, and a bit of fetch, she blossoms into an incredibly warm and affectionate companion. Solstice loves to be close to her people and becomes a devoted shadow. She is also potty trained and enjoys her routines. Due to her past experiences and her "alpha" personality, she's looking for a very special, experienced home that can help boost her confidence and provide her with the calm, understanding environment she deserves. She has some vision impairment, common for senior dogs.

Ideal Home

Solstice needs a patient and experienced home that can help her build confidence and provide proper socialization. She would do best in a quiet environment with no small pets or young children, as she is an "alpha" female and can be anxious around them.
