Avery is a sweet, beautiful girly who was found wandering the streets of Houston. A kindhearted person patiently earned her trust by feeding her, and now Avery is safe with our rescue and ready to find the loving home she deserves. She is a shy sweetheart who may need a little time to feel comfortable in a new environment, but once she knows she's safe, her gentle personality begins to shine. She gets along well with other dogs and would do well in a patient home that will let her adjust at her own pace. If you're looking for a kind, gentle companion and are willing to give Avery the time and love she needs to blossom, you'll be rewarded with a loyal best friend.

Transporation
Avery is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and pickup locations may vary, including to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. You will be able to track the van using the app Life360, and receive updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
