Meet Solo! He's a handsome Shepherd Mix, approximately 2 years old and weighing 46 lbs. Solo was rescued as a stray and is now searching for his loving forever family. He can be a bit reserved at first, but his sweet and affectionate nature quickly emerges once he feels comfortable. Solo is a loyal companion who loves spending time with his people and is eager to form strong bonds. He's lived on a rescue ranch and adapted well to kennel life, but he's dreaming of a home to call his own.

Ideal Home

Solo would do well in a variety of homes, including one with another dog, as long as introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully. He'll thrive with a family that can provide structure, guidance, and plenty of love as he continues to learn about life as a cherished family member.

Ongoing Health

Solo is currently heartworm positive and will require continued treatment and care throughout his recovery.

Training & Support

Solo is crate-trained and has maintained a clean kennel environment. He has a medium to high energy level and is an affectionate, people-oriented dog who is eager to learn and please. While he hasn't had formal training, he responds well to guidance. Because he's spent much of his life in a kennel, his house-training status is unknown, and his future family should be prepared to offer patience and consistency as he adjusts to indoor living.
