Riggs

Riggs is a charming nine-month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix with a heart of gold and a shy disposition. He arrived with many other dogs from a hoarding situation where he received basic care but lacked essential socialization. Riggs is a gentle soul who thrives on calm energy and needs a little time to adjust to new situations. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, and would greatly benefit from having a confident canine companion in his new home to show him the ropes. He's also a fan of a consistently temperate indoor climate, so he'd appreciate a home that keeps things around 72 degrees.

Ideal Home

Riggs would do best in a quiet, predictable home environment with older children (10+) who understand the need for a gentle approach. He's not a fan of loud noises or sudden commotion, so a peaceful household is a must. A securely fenced yard is essential for his safety and comfort.

Ongoing Health

Riggs is generally healthy, but his sensitivity to loud noises, especially around holidays like the Fourth of July, should be kept in mind.

Training & Support

Riggs is still learning about the world and benefits greatly from structure, kindness, and patience. He's a dog who will truly blossom with time and understanding.
