Meet Rocky! This handsome 6-year-old, 90 lb gentleman is looking for his forever home. Rocky was rescued from Houston, TX, where he was found abandoned, hungry, and in need of help. Despite his past, Rocky is a friendly, sweet, and easy-going dog with a low-energy personality. He's well-behaved, enjoys leisurely walks on a leash, and is both crate-trained and house-trained. Rocky loves to relax indoors and is a quiet companion.

Ideal Home

Rocky is looking for a best friend who has the time to take him on the longer walks he truly enjoys. Because of his past struggles with food, Rocky can be protective of his food and should have his own designated bowl and feeding area. He's accustomed to being around large dogs, especially those his size or larger, and gets along wonderfully with female dogs. Rocky is also good with cats and not reactive towards them.

Rocky has been neutered and vaccinated, and he is HWN (Heartworm Negative).

Training & Support

Rocky is house-trained and crate-trained. He can be protective of his food due to past experiences, so he needs his own space and bowl. He also needs more opportunities for activity and longer walks.
