Ridge

Ridge is a 8-month-old Anatolian Shepherd who, despite coming from a hoarding case, has emerged wonderfully sunny and social! He's playful, gregarious, and genuinely happy to be here. Ridge enjoys people, gets along with other dogs, and is good with cats. He's still a puppy, but he's a large and opinionated one who is growing into a very large and opinionated adult dog. His adopter needs to understand the breed and be prepared to provide structure.

Ridge is a happy pup who has decided life is excellent, dogs are fun, people are useful, cats are acceptable, and the Roomba is a demonic floor creature that should not be trusted.

Ideal Home

Because he is young, big, and still learning how to use both his brain and his body at the same time, we are recommending children over 10 years old. Ridge will also need a fenced yard. This is not a dog for an apartment, a casual leash-walk-only setup, or someone who thinks an Anatolian is just a fluffy golden retriever with better cheekbones. Be prepared for a very large adult dog, as he is already tall and still growing.

Ridge is a really nice young dog who is social, funny, dog-friendly, and cat-friendly. He is ready for a home that will give him guidance and boundaries. Bonus points if your vacuum stays in the closet and your Roomba has already made peace with its own mortality.
