Will is a 3-year-old American Bully whose journey is a true testament to resilience. He first came into our care during an unforgettable moment. While his unhoused owner was in the hospital giving birth, our Director had just welcomed her own baby. The hospital reached out to see if we could care for Will temporarily, and we were honored to help. A few weeks later, Will was happily reunited with his mom. Not long after, she reached out again, knowing something wasn't right. Will wasn't feeling well and needed urgent medical care. Trusting us to help him was one of the greatest acts of love she could have given him, and from that moment on, his healing journey truly began. While in our care, Will underwent BOAS surgery to help him breathe more comfortably and improve his quality of life. As he recovered physically, he also began healing emotionally. He completed a board-and-train program where he gained confidence, learned basic obedience, and continued building trust in the world around him. Today, Will is a loyal, affectionate boy who forms deep bonds with his people. He thrives with structure, routine, and positive guidance, and he has blossomed into an incredible companion. Despite everything he's endured, he continues to greet life with a gentle heart and a willingness to trust. Will is ready for a forever family that will give him the stability, patience, and love he deserves. In return, he'll offer unwavering loyalty and a lifetime of companionship.
