Violet

Meet Violet! This sweet and loyal girl is about 1.5 years old and has truly been through the wringer, but her spirit remains unbroken. Despite a tough start on the streets of Houston, TX, Violet emerged as a world-class cuddler who loves to army crawl to get close to her favorite people. Her tongue is often out in a happy grin, and she's completely devoted to her family. Violet is a pro at walking on a leash and is fully potty trained. She's also good with dogs of all sizes and gains confidence from canine companions. While she's friendly with children, she can be a little scared of loud noises, so a home with a slightly calmer environment for little ones would be ideal. Violet knows "sit" and is making great progress with place and crate training. She has a soft spot for playing tug and is obsessed with the hose, but she's terrified of squeaky toys.

Ideal Home

Violet would thrive in a home with an adopter who is committed to continuing her training to build her confidence. She would also benefit from having another dog friend to help her feel more secure.

Violet is spayed, vaccinated, and has no known ongoing health conditions.
