Meet Duckie! Spunky, Sweet, and Full of Joy!

If you are looking for a fun-sized bundle of personality, Duckie is your guy! This adorable mix is a social, affectionate, and wiggly boy who absolutely blooms once he knows he's safe with you. Duckie is a champion cuddler and loves to immediately hop right into your lap to shower you with sweet face licks and soak up all the affection. He also loves other dogs! In shelter playgroups, he is a total blast to watch, running around with the happiest zoomies, offering playful play-bows, and making fast friends with other pups. Duckie is incredibly bright and treat-motivated. He already knows how to "sit," has an excellent "off" command, and loves brain games like "find it." On walks, he is a great partner who naturally checks in with his handler. Whether he's playing a fun game of tug-of-war with his favorite human, shaking a squeaky toy, or happily chewing a bone on his own, Duckie knows how to keep himself entertained. Duckie is a small guy with a big heart who loves his inner circle deeply.

Ideal Home

Duckie is looking for a patient, adult-only forever home (or one with dog-savvy teens) that can give him slow, structured introductions to new people, as the big wide world can sometimes feel a little overwhelming to him.
