Meet Scotty!

Scotty is an 8-year-old boy with a heart of gold, ready to find his forever family. He's been through a lot, having been found as a stray in Kentucky with injuries suspected to be from a car accident. This led to the amputation of one of his legs, and he also bravely completed heartworm treatment. Despite his past, Scotty's spirit shines through with his sweet and gentle personality. He's a handsome, easygoing tripod who has discovered the joy of affection and will happily seek it out. He enjoys spending time with his people and has a calm, loving nature that makes him a pleasure to have around.

Ideal Home

Scotty thrives in a home where he can move at his own pace, ideally with a fenced yard. While he walks on a leash, he's still building confidence. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is non-reactive around cats and other small animals, and is great with children.

Ongoing Health

Scotty has successfully completed heartworm treatment. He is an amputee, missing one leg.

Training & Support

Scotty is doing great with housetraining and knows to go outside to potty. He is still building confidence with leash walking as he adjusts to life on three legs. He isn't looking for perfection, just a family who will love him exactly as he is.
