STUDLEY (aka Stud Muffin)

Studley, a 2-3 year old handsome boy, is seeking an experienced handler to be his leader. He's a laid-back and therapeutic companion, but also possesses a powerful presence that requires guidance. Studley enjoys relaxing at home, taking in the sights and sounds of the backyard, and loves car rides and walks. He's not overly clingy, but appreciates your presence and is content entertaining himself with tough chew toys and a window to gaze out of. His daycamp leader describes him as medium energy, though he can experience anxiety during thunderstorms or rain, making it ideal for someone to be home with him frequently. Studley is house-trained and an excellent communicator, letting you know when he needs to go outside. He's great with people and generally does well with good-natured dogs, including smaller ones, after proper introductions. Please note, Studley is not cat-friendly.

Ideal Home

Studley would thrive in a home with an experienced handler who can provide leadership and redirection when needed. A securely fenced backyard is a non-negotiable requirement. He would also appreciate a home where someone is present a good bit of the time, especially during inclement weather, due to his anxiety around thunderstorms and rain.

Training & Support

Studley is generally house-trained and rides well in a car. He is an excellent communicator and will bark to signal when he needs to go outside. He is not cat-friendly.
