Bear

Bear is a delightful 6-year-old, approximately 18 lbs, who is searching for his loving forever home! He's a sweet and gentle soul, likely a Bassett mix due to his short stature. Bear adores other dogs, no matter their size, and has also charmed the resident cats at his foster sanctuary. Children are no problem for Bear; he's eager to share his abundant love with them.

Ideal Home

Bear thrives in a home where he can share his many blankets! He has a special attachment to his blankets and can often be found cozying up under one.

Ongoing Health

Bear will be neutered, heartworm negative, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, microchipped, and will have received a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.

Training & Support

Bear is house and crate trained. He is described as quirky, fun, playful, and all-around loving.

Transporation

Bear is currently located in Texas. We transport animals to the Central US and the East Coast every 2-3 weeks. Available transport locations include: Albany and Latham, NY; Wells and Brattleboro, VT; Willington, New Haven, and Dayville, CT; Port Chester, NY; Dayton and Akron, OH; Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA; Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ; White Marsh/Elkton, MD; and Falls Church, VA. The adoption fee of $525 includes transport from Texas.
