Bear is a handsome, approximately 1-year-old, 60 lb pittie mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart! He's confident, people-loving, and approaches the world with enthusiasm and curiosity. Bear is treat-motivated and eager to engage, making him a joy to train. He's already house and crate trained, and his foster mom raves about how lovely he is at lounging. Bear loves human interaction and will happily be part of whatever you're doing, whether it's seeking attention or just resting nearby.
Ideal Home
Bear would do well with a confident, calm, larger female dog who won't be overwhelmed by his size or playfulness. While he hasn't lived with cats, he's shown curiosity and restraint with a feline friend and could likely live peacefully with a dog-savvy, confident cat with slow introductions. He needs a home that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and ongoing training.
Ongoing Health
Bear is a healthy boy who has received all vetting, including vaccines, deworming, and he is microchipped.
Training & Support
Bear is still in his puppy phase and learning how to manage his excitement, especially around other dogs. He will need continued guidance on leash manners and appropriate play with other dogs. With structure, proper introductions, and consistent handling, he's sure to become a wonderful playmate. He loves enrichment puzzles, which are great for his brain!
