Meet Fritz!
Fritz is an approximately 8-week-old German Wirehaired Pointer mix who found himself in need of a loving home after a close call on the street. He's growing quickly and is expected to be around 50+ lbs when fully grown, boasting classic GWP markings, a distinct facial structure, and adorably oversized paws. Fritz is a bundle of puppy joy, blending playful energy with sweet cuddles. He loves to explore, solve puzzle toys, and engage his intelligent mind. He already knows his name and is mastering the "sit" command, proving to be a very food-motivated and eager learner. Like all puppies, he's currently teething and may be a bit mouthy, so supervision is key, especially around younger children. He's also working on sleeping independently and can be an early riser, so his future family should be prepared for consistent crate training and puppy structure. Fritz is incredibly loving, friendly, and social, doing wonderfully with people, children, and other dogs. He has a resilient, smart, and goofy spirit, and we're searching for the perfect family to give him a lifetime of love.
Ideal Home
Fritz would thrive in an active home that can provide him with plenty of mental stimulation and opportunities for exercise. A family prepared for the commitment of puppy-raising, including consistent training and patience, will be a great fit.
Ongoing Health
Fritz is up-to-date on vaccinations for his age, has been dewormed, is microchipped, and is on monthly flea and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Fritz is learning to "sit" and is eager to please. He is food-motivated, making training enjoyable. He is currently teething and can be mouthy; supervision is important while he learns boundaries. He is also working on independent sleeping and crate training, and typically wakes early.
