Meet Valentine! This handsome hunk is a 5-year-old Pyrenees/Hound mix who came through our rescue over 3 years ago. He was adopted but unfortunately finds himself in need of a new forever home. Valentine is a high-energy, adventurous soul who thrives in a country lifestyle. He recently made the move to "city life" and is really struggling to adapt. Therefore, we are searching for a new home for Valentine to call his own, one where he has the freedom to run and explore! Valentine is super loyal and lovable, wants nothing more than all your attention and a good head scratch! He's a great guardian dog and has even run a bear off the property! He hates the rain, though, and prefers the sunshine. Valentine will be your loyal companion till the very end. We promised Valentine that the rest of his life would be the best of his life. Could that life be with you?

Ideal Home

Valentine thrives in a country lifestyle with plenty of room to run and explore. He is stressed by cramped city life surrounded by strange people and animals.

Training & Support

Valentine is housetrained and walks well on a leash. He gets along with dogs, cats, and livestock, and is learning to behave around chickens.

Transporation

Valentine is located in South Carolina, and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
