Stella in Maine

Stella is a 7-year-old, 49lb mixed breed dog with a heart of gold, ready to bring joy, warmth, and endless affection into your home! She's a little shy at first, but once she gets to know you, her silly, bouncy side emerges, and she loves to hop around and snuggle in your lap. Stella is the sweetest, cuddliest girl with the most gentle eyes, and she's eager to become your new best friend.

Ideal Home

Stella would do best as the only dog in the home, as she finds other dogs stressful in close proximity. She may be able to make friends outside the home with slower, lower-stress introductions. She has a history of doing well with cats, and while she's reportedly done fine with children in the past, we'd love for any kids in the home to meet her at the shelter.

Ongoing Health

Stella is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Stella is reported to be house-trained. We recommend proper introductions for any resident cats.
