Hope

Hope is a 2-year-old, 30-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is spayed, fully vaccinated, and up to date on all preventatives. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and shows off her silly, independent spirit. Hope is a medium-energy girl who enjoys play sessions and relaxing. She loves toys and has a habit of carrying as many as she can to her favorite spot, making her very entertaining. She walks nicely on leash most of the time, though squirrels can cause her to pull. Hope is also great in the car, making her a wonderful companion.

At home, Hope is house trained, crate trained for up to six hours, and can be trusted to free roam without being destructive. She has no issues with food aggression or resource guarding. We have no history with Hope and cats.

Ideal Home

Hope would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children (12+) as she can get jumpy when excited and a bit mouthy during play. She is still learning to be gentle but is eager to continue learning with the right guidance.

Hope is food motivated and eager to learn. She can get jumpy and a bit mouthy during play, so continued gentle guidance will help her learn to be more refined.

Transporation

Hope is located at our rescue. Transports run every few weeks and she will be on the next available transport once approved.
