Colter

Colter is a young adult beagle who came to us from a hoarder who loved beagles a little too much! He weighs about 20 pounds and spreads both chaos and light wherever he goes. He's the friendliest boy you will likely ever meet, loving everyone he encounters. Colter loves to run in the yard, look out the windows, climb on the couch, roll in blankets, lick your face, and sleep in your bed. He's good on leash, very energetic, and gets stressed when separated from his people or crated. He loves other dogs and children and is fine with cats. Colter was a bit spooked by a pig, but seemed to enjoy the company of a turkey. Colter knows what makes him happy: a fenced yard, a doggie playmate, and no crates!

Ideal Home

Colter would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and a doggie playmate. He is not a fan of crates.

Ongoing Health

All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.

Training & Support

Colter is very energetic and can be stressed by separation and crating. He is still learning and would benefit from continued guidance in training.
