A little about them
Milo is a sweet, mature Labrador mix who has overcome serious injuries and is ready for a loving forever home. He enjoys walks, car rides, peaceful adventures, couch cuddles, and relaxing beside his people. He is house-trained, non-destructive, low-energy, and comfortable living in an apartment without a yard.
Ideal Home
Milo is looking for a home where he can be the only pet and receive plenty of affection. He is friendly with adults and children, though older children may be a better fit because he can become excited. He may live with calm, respectful dogs after very slow introductions, but puppies and young dogs are not suitable. Milo is not compatible with cats and has shown food guarding around other animals, which is improving.
Ongoing Health
Milo was hit by a vehicle and suffered serious hip and femur injuries. He underwent surgery in March 2026 and has made an incredible recovery. He weighs approximately 46 pounds and is neutered. He may need help getting into and out of an SUV.
Training & Support
Milo is house-trained, non-destructive, good on leash, and easily redirected when he notices other dogs or small animals. He rides well in the car and is comfortable being handled. He does not need a crate, though he will tolerate one or an exercise pen if necessary. Adoptions include 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
