A little about them
Meet Daisy, a sweet, affectionate, and resilient young dog who is ready to blossom in her forever home. At 1 year old and 54 pounds, she enjoys being close to her people, climbing into laps, following them around, and accepting affection. She is playful in a fenced yard, especially with stuffed toys, and loves carrying a bully stick.
Ideal Home
Daisy has done well with older, dog-savvy children who understand typical young-dog behavior. She shows relaxed, friendly body language around other dogs and may enjoy a canine companion. Resident dogs should meet Daisy before adoption.
Daisy can be unsure about new experiences such as getting into a car or starting a bath, but she works through them with patience and encouragement. She may need help getting into the car and can freeze initially, then settles and rides quietly. She may also show light, puppy-like mouthing, but responds well to guidance.
Ongoing Health
Daisy is spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.
Training & Support
Daisy walks nicely with only mild pulling, takes care of business outside, and keeps her space clean. She is treat motivated, takes treats gently, knows “sit,” and is easily redirected when excited. She does well in public and enjoys playful, affectionate interaction.
