Buttons

Buttons is a 4-year-old Hound mix with a gentle and easygoing personality. She arrived at the shelter underweight but is steadily gaining and feeling much better! She’s a mellow girl who enjoys the simple pleasures in life – short walks, naps in the sun, and being close to her people. Buttons walks nicely on a leash and is very treat-motivated, making her a wonderful and easy companion.

Ideal Home

Buttons is not a high-energy dog and would be perfect for someone looking for a calm, steady presence. She would do well in a quieter home, with an older couple, or with anyone who simply wants a sweet dog to share their space with.

Ongoing Health

Buttons arrived underweight but is now gaining steadily and feeling much better.

Training & Support

Buttons is treat-motivated and walks nicely on a leash. She doesn't need much – just a safe place, a little patience, and someone to love her.
